We offer free and completely confidential sexual health services to anyone living in Derby or Derbyshire. You can find us in Derby, where our specialist team can help you with: 

  • routine testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV 
  • diagnosis and treatment for symptoms of STIs
  • free condoms
  • coil fitting and removal
  • sexual health advice and support 
  • contraception, including the contraceptive implant, injection, patch, ring and pills
  • pregnancy testing and support 
  • emergency contraception
  • LGBT+ health support

Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 7pm (including walk-in service for STI issues on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm)

Fridays 9am to 5pm

Saturdays 9.45am to 1:45pm

Walk-in and wait service at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital

There is also a walk-in service for STI issues at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm. 

We do our best to see walk-in patients as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee how long you will wait to see a health professional. 

Sexual health services are provided by the NHS and are free to UK residents. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
