We offer free and completely confidential sexual health services to anyone living in Derby or Derbyshire. You can find us in Chesterfield, where our specialist team can help you with:

  • routine testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)  
  • diagnosis and treatment for symptoms of STIs
  • HIV testing and treatment
  • walk-in service for STI issues during specific times
  • free condoms
  • sexual health advice and support 
  • coil fitting and removal 
  • contraception, including the contraceptive implant, injection, patch, ring, diaphragm and pills
  • pregnancy testing and support
  • emergency contraception
  • vasectomy (male sterilisation)
  • psychosexual counselling
  • LGBT+ health support

Please note that our HIV services are available Tuesdays and Thursdays 8.30am-11.30am

Walk-in and wait service at Wheatbridge Health Village

There is also a walk-in service for STI issues   at Wheatbridge Health Village on:

Mondays and Fridays 8.15am to 12 noon

Tuesdays (only for young people aged 21 and under) 3pm to 6pm 

We do our best to see walk-in patients as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee how long you will wait to see a health professional. 

Sexual health services are provided by the NHS and are free to UK residents. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
